Job Description:We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Dessert Shop Operator to join our team. This role involves a mix of customer service, and daily operations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cook with the preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables
- Stir and heat soups and sauces
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Assist customers in selecting their desired desserts, offering recommendations and upselling products.
Handle orders efficiently and ensure timely takeaway service.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process orders and payments (cash, credit, or other forms of payment).
Ensure accurate transactions and provide correct change when needed.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Maintain a clean and inviting shop environment by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and dining areas.
- Ensure proper stock levels by monitoring inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including locking up and securing the premises.
Requirements:
- Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
- Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Mandarin-speaking is a must
