Dezign Format is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of quality, health, safety and environmental standards within the company. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, conducting supplier audits, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure compliance with our quality standards. You will work closely with production, procurement, and project management teams to implement and uphold quality systems, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and update the team on the latest quality policies and regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the quality assurance programme and conduct regular internal and external quality control audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
- Spearhead the development, implementation, and improvement of quality control policies, standards, and operational procedures, ensuring proper documentation of records and reports for submission to regulatory authorities
- Develop and maintain a system for monitoring and evaluating quality control data, and provide comprehensive reports to senior management
- Identify and investigate quality control issues, recommend solutions to improve the quality of services, processes, and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance through regular audits, ensuring strict adherence to the company's quality standards
- Monitor the use of equipment to ensure safety and sustainably discard any that do not meet requirements
- Mentor and lead the QHSE team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the company
- Serve as the company’s representative in quality-related discussions with external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies
- Manage feedback, complaints, and incident or accident investigations
- Liaise with ESG and other relevant government entities on grant support applications and claims
- Spearhead the sustainability efforts of the company, gather carbon emission data and work with other departments to co-develop our sustainability report.
- Attend to any other related QHSE matters as requested by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Control or relevant disciplines (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance or QHSE role
- Strong knowledge of local and international quality control methodologies and best practices, including ISO management systems and relevant frameworks (i.e., ISO 45001, 14001, 20121, 9001, and bizSAFE standards)
- Excellent written and oral communication, leadership, supervision and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to multitask effectively, work independently and in teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience on sustainability report and carbon emission reporting is a plus
- Accreditation of QHSE internal auditor certification will be advantageous
