Job Description
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Export Warehouse and Transport Operations
- Responsible for monitoring the build-up of Airline pallets & Loose Lodge-in to terminal
- To ensure that all pallet dollies and unit load devices are received/returned on time from/to SATS/DNATA terminals
- To supervise the packing and repacking of cargo whenever required and to ensure that all export shipments and documents are transferred on time
- To liaise closely with export/import CS/Ops and PCM department's staff to void any off-loading/ collection issues
- To raise an irregularity report if cargo is found damaged in the warehouse and to answer to all calls to the Duty Manager mobile telephone without fail
- Maintain effective control of contractors to ensure compliance with operating procedures
- Monitor the performance of suppliers/vendors/contractors and report any service failure to the relevant parties
- To co-ordinate with Terminal (GHA) on Operational issues as and when being informed by Terminal Officer
- Attend to loading & unloading of shipments into C-Safe and Environtainer for perishable shipments at Customer's premise and ensure timely lodge-in of the shipments to terminal
- Attend unloading of Odd Size cargo, i.e. Capital Equipment and Aircraft Engine at terminal
- Undertakes tasks and responsibilities assigned by the company as and when deemed appropriate
Requirements
- Diploma
- 2-4 years of relevant logistics experience. Experience in freight/ warehousing will be preferred
- Afternoon shift, 5.5 day work week (Monday to Friday 1200h to 2100h; Alternate Saturday 1500h to 2100h; Sunday/PH 0900h to 2100h). If required to replace as backup, work hours 0830h to 1730h/ 2300h to 0800h.
- Rostered work days and shift allowances are provided.
