IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Ensure booking/delivery arrangement are coordinated within the specific time schedule, on time and complete
- Ensure data entry input accuracy using various IT systems for all shipment transactions
- Coordinate with customers and service provider on all activities including coordination on the collection schedule and pick ups for freight booking
- Ensure all shipping documents are checked and tallied with the necessary documents before releasing the truckers
- Ensure that all customer requirements are fulfilled within the contracted period
- Ensure that all services are properly recorded and forwarded for monthly billing in a timely manner
- Scope of work not limited to the following for inbound and outbound warehouse operation:
- Verify physical cargoes received against shipper's CIPL
- Perform inspection, picking labelling, loading and unloading
- Preparation of freight booking with necessary shipping documentation
- Preparation of documents for filing purposes
- Tracking & updating shipment status plus reports to customers
- Execute day to day billings to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure all EDI billings are successfully triggered per customer requirement
- Maintain effective control of contractors to ensure compliance with SOP/Work Instructions
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in any related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
