Responsibilities
- Conduct technical decarbonization studies for all RES projects including costs impact estimation.
- Experience to employ carbon reducing technologies efficiently on large-scale buildings, both new builds and retrofitting
- Calculates initial cost and payback period for carbon reducing investments
- Responsible for completing and submitting BCA Template and for explaining cost benefits to the review board.
- Implements requirements to achieve various energy & sustainability certifications and manages certification process.
- Knowledge of solar PV, air and ground source heat pumps, wind turbines, heat regeneration, and other energy saving technologies
- Knowledge and experience with energy modeling
- Knowledge of “fabric first” envelope analysis
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- University engineering degree (Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical); Masters preferred
- Certification or accreditation in one or more sustainable programs
- Minimum 8 years of experience
