Opportunity

The Chief of Staff role reports directly to the CEO Asia-ex Japan, Head of International Fixed Income and supports the Singapore office to help execute strategic objectives. This role works across various geographies and liaises other internal stakeholders to assess business development performance, drive the forward-looking strategy and help lead project teams in solving complex problems and implementation issues critical to the Singapore office.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the AxJ Executive team to implement Dimensional’s strategic business initiatives across corporate, regulatory, product and distribution activities.
• Support the global distribution of Irish UCITS and US 40 Act ETFs, which includes both product and distribution related activities.
• Coordination of client onboarding across both institutions and intermediaries into the Irish and UK fund ranges and separate client accounts.
• Coordination of AxJ corporate, distribution and product related contracts, such as IMAs, platform and distribution agreements.
• Work with the Head of Global Client group Operations to facilitate the implementation of a process driven, data informed approach to sales.
• Serve as a liaison, thought partner and execution partner with the Co-Heads of GCG, GCG Channel heads, GCG and region heads, GCG Operations, GCG Client Services, Dimensional Investment (inc PM Ops) and Marketing teams.
• Interact across multiple channels and teams to increase interdepartmental efficiencies, support the design and adoption of standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Implement creative and impactful solutions to business challenges, providing qualitative and quantitative recommendations to the CEO.
• Support the preparation of business analytics and reporting, in partnership with Dimensional’s Finance group in order to update the CEO on recent trends in spend and progress on key initiatives.
• Prepare materials for the CEO’s participation in internal meetings, committee meetings, board meetings and offsites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, business or finance required.
• Deep understanding of Dimensional’s channels, client base, growth opportunities, and business risks.
• Prior experience working in a global business and successfully operating in a matrix environment.
• At least 4 years of experience in asset management and in roles providing sales and operational support.
• Effective verbal and written communicator who is comfortable collaborating across levels of seniority and able to work well both independently and within a team.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize competing needs, drive multiple projects simultaneously, and lead cross-functional groups to outcomes in a fast changing environment
• Comfortable working with large sets of data to drive insights and help make decisions based on facts/data.
