(A) Key Functions and Responsibilities

1. Organize, monitor and ensure manufacturing processes operated with minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.

2. Initiates, implements, and manages the processes improvement program based on best practices in the metal drum making industry, with an emphasis on productivity and product quality.

3. Ensure all manufacturing processes are adhering to all Regulatory and Statutory Requirement.

4. Work with HR Department and assure that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion.

5. Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians and engineering staff.

6. Maintain and ensure work safety and practices. Also continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.

7. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.

8. Evaluate, Train and Maintain individual skills (including work performance) are keeping up to date with best engineering management concepts and practices.

9. Ensure on time submission of overtime record to HR Dept for computation of monthly salary.

10. Establish and prepare process documentation such as work instruction, process specifications and assist on the quality plan.

11. Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving production-related problems.

12. Ensures that subordinates are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

13. Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the staff.

14. Communicate regularly with all production and maintenance teams, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning production and maintenance issues.

15. Assist in hiring of production personnel.

16. Maintain and update operating manuals for all the manufacturing equipment and facilities.

17. Maintain and update operating training manuals for all manufacturing processes.

18. Perform any other ad-hoc projects or tasks to be assigned by the HOD / Management from time to time.

(B) Skill/Experience

1. Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
2. Able to supervise and lead the subordinates.
3. Willing to work after working hour or during non-working days.
4. Able to work under pressure.
5. Computer literate.
6. Knowledge in ISO is an advantage.

(C) Education

1. Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing / Electrical /Mechanical / Engineering discipline.

A) JOB SUMMARY

Assist continuous improvement engineer to audit process flow and gathering data. Ensure workers are following SOP to produce quality products. Work with all other teams/departments in improving manufacturing operations to yield profit and to exceed customer satisfaction.

B) PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION

• Responsible to conduct daily audit on operation process flow.
• Observe workers closely to make sure all equipment/parameters is being used/follow properly and maintained to the correct standards.
• Responsible to evaluate and analyse data to find ways to improve efficiency/quality and reducing downtime.
• Provide technical support to all projects, perform root cause analysis and work to reduce any defects.
• Develop new manufacturing processes (applying automation concept) and to improve processes that already exist.
• Report to immediate reporting immediately when abnormality is found at work.

C) ADDITIONAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with all rules and regulations related to safety & COP.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-pace environment, work and learn independently.
• To ensure proper housekeeping are carry out daily.
• Complete any other ad hoc tasks assigned by immediate reporting/Plant Manager.

Requirement

1. Singaporean/PR with maintenance (mechanical) technician background
2. Staying in West area of Singapore
3. Starting basic salary between S$2300 ~ 3000
4. Must be willing to perform overtime duties when needed
5. An effective team player with good communication skills
6. Possess a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
7. Great time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
8. A hands-on staff

(A) Key Functions and Responsibilities

1. Issuing, sending of PO via email and keep track of PO for procurement activities.
2. Liaising with store to monitor stock inventories required by Operations Unit is in place to avoid any potential material shortage
3. Liaising with plant for their requirements.
4. Maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory
5. Liaising/correspondence with suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries
6. Continuously sourcing of parts/materials as and when required
7. Performing Goods received and updating of system
8. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other necessary data
9. Co-ordinating with forwarder for preparing of documents/permit for incoming shipment clearance
10. Continuously liaising with Sales and other departments for their new requirement of material/parts
11. To negotiable and obtain best price quotes from suppliers based on various PR request within the company
12. Deals with defective goods damaged goods as and when required
13. Performing monthly stock take
14. Any other ad hoc jobs assigned

1. Minimum 1 years of working experience in procurement.

2. Management skill and ability.

3. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
