Duck Learning is looking for an experienced and dynamic Program Executive - Competitions to lead and manage the organization of Robotics education competitions in Singapore. This role is pivotal in fostering innovation and excitement among students, enhancing their learning experiences, and positioning Duck Learning as a leader in educational competitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Management: Oversee the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of various Robotics competitions. Ensure events run smoothly and meet educational and operational goals.
- Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract participants, schools, and educators, increasing competition visibility and enrollment.
- Partnership and Sponsorship Development: Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with sponsors and collaborators to support event growth and sustainability.
- Program Development: Design and improve the structure and format of competitions to keep them engaging, educationally relevant, and scalable.
- Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets for competitions, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of coordinators, volunteers, and external partners, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with schools, educational institutions, and government bodies to build networks that promote event participation and growth.
- Feedback and Reporting: Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders post-event and compile comprehensive reports to inform future planning.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all competitions comply with local regulations and maintain high safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, program management, or a related role, preferably in educational or STEAM-focused events.
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including educators, sponsors, and participants.
- Marketing Expertise: Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive participation.
- Problem-solving Ability: Proactive and creative in addressing challenges and finding efficient solutions.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage relationships with various partners and participants.
- Tech-savvy: Familiarity with event management software and digital platforms used for promotions and registration processes.
- Passion for Education: A strong commitment to enhancing education through innovative STEAM-focused programs.
