Job Description
Our Technical RnD & Training Assistant will be supporting the development of our technical operations.
You will assist the Technical Director in managing all technical-related matters, which includes:
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of all technical findings, solutions and improvements.
- Involving in product development and research.
- Studying product specifications and suggesting enhancements or new applications for them.
- Applying concepts and hands-on skills to develop innovative solutions based on each commercial project’s needs.
- Assisting in site inspections to diagnose technical issues and provide support to resolve them.
Additionally, you will support the Training Manager in developing and executing the company’s training plan, including but not limited to:
- Managing the end-to-end training process, from course development and materials creation to training delivery and learner outcome assessments.
- Conducting training sessions for a wide range of target audience (office & warehouse) through both in-class and online methods.
- Developing course materials and making consistent enhancements to incorporate new content, methodologies, updates, or trends.
- Analysing and reviewing training feedback and evaluation to improve the effectiveness of training programs.
- Facilitating and administering training logistics and documentation as required.
- Assisting in drafting and updating operational documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and checklists.
What will the Right Person look like?
- You have at least 1 year of experience in delivering stand-up training or developing content.
- Applicants with a minimum Diploma qualification in relevant areas of study (Mechanical Engineering / Engineering) are encouraged to apply.
- You are proficient in using 3D modeling software and productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience with E-content development, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is an added advantage. Applicants with ACLP certification are preferred.
- You have a strong command in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written) as this role requires you to liaise with our internal and external stakeholders.
- You demonstrate critical problem-solving skills by analysing the issues and providing innovative and practical solutions.
