Job Responsibilities:

Strategic

• Perform Spend Analysis to support sourcing strategy and annual plan development
• Perform study of supply market intelligence (market, vendor, product, commodity, etc)
• Drive procurement cost reduction initiatives
• Support the development and drive the implementation of Group Procurement strategies, policies and initiatives
• Contribute to the development of procurement planning processes
• Lead/Manage the procurement processes
• Drive the alignment of Divisional SOP to GPPA and ensure compliance to GPPA
• Drive and manage capability development and knowledge management

Operation

• Conduct tenders in accordance to Division SOP/GPPA and make recommendations to Tender Committee
• Understanding and influencing sourcing project / business requirements. Identify opportunities that focus on cost reductions, efficiencies/quality improvements, risk mitigation, industry and supply trends and shifts in technology
• Supplier Classification, Relationship Management and contract management
• Proactively work with Stakeholders and assist in or directly manage spend
• Know, understand and stay abreast of industry trends, benchmarks, best practices, etc.
• Monitor Strategic/key Suppliers to provide internal notifications and develop risk mitigation scenarios
• Analyze past and future demand volumes, inventory trends and current inventory levels
• Drive Procurement Digital Strategy (Digitization and Automation of processes) and reductions in Total Cost of Ownership (i.e. supply programs, catalogs)

Responsible Sourcing

• Supplier assessment and due diligence: Conduct assessments and audits of current and potential suppliers to evaluate their compliance with ethical, social, and environmental standards. Identify risks and areas for improvement and collaborate with suppliers to drive corrective actions
• Supplier performance monitoring: Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance in responsible sourcing. Regularly monitor and evaluate supplier performance, providing feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement
• Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, sustainability, and operations teams, to ensure responsible sourcing practices are integrated into procurement processes
• Training and awareness: Conduct training programs to educate employees, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders on responsible sourcing practices. Promote awareness and understanding of responsible sourcing throughout the organization
• Reporting and transparency: Prepare regular reports and metrics to track responsible sourcing performance. Ensure transparency by communicating progress, challenges, and achievements to internal and external stakeholders
• Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to responsible sourcing, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to implement best practices, innovative approaches, and new technologies

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 5 years relevant working experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of QC inspectors overseeing daily QC inspections activities in compliance with established standards
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring to enhance the skills and performance of team members
• Prepare and maintain work schedule for the department to ensure optimize resource for overall efficiency
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement, track status of non-conformities and CAPA effectiveness
• Responsible for review and approval of DHR. Ensure quality records and samples are retained complying with good writing practice GDP requirements
• Implement quality documentation changes, such as QC procedures, process workflows, work instructions, etc. Guide the team to follow through the change
• Review and submit validation or verification measurement reports
• Perform daily process audit to meet quality operational requirements
• Ensure product identification and traceability of product are in place
• As calibration administrator, ensure equipment are calibrated correctly, provide accurate measurements and having proper identification
• Assist in customer complaint analysis, investigation of quality issues and corresponding improvement measures
• Authorize the release (COC) of products, COA review and approval
• Adhere to safety protocols and implement preventive measures to maintain a safe working environment
• Monitor and report KPI of QC team job performance, production quality trends, quality control charts, etc.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the superior

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum professional certification / Diploma / Degree in relevant subject area
• Working knowledge on ISO13485:2016 and quality assurance / quality control of medical devices is an added advantage
• Familiar with use of various quality control tools and test equipment
