Job Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods to physical stores and E-Commerce business.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to the warehouse.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of products.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Lead, train, and supervise logistics team, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and follow standard operating procedures.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance the skills and productivity of the warehouse team.
Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, logistics, store and E-Commerce operations, to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of warehouse activities with overall business objectives.
Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, shipping and receiving, and labor utilization.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in warehouse and logistics management to implement improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or any other related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Warehouse/ Logistics Manager or similar role in the retail sector.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide warehouse staff.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges.
Sound understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce safety standards in the warehouse.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholder.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
