Tasks & responsibilities
· Handle full spectrum of Accounts (General Ledger)
· Support our Sales team on the project purchasing and billing.
· Prepares monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
· Monitor income and expenses closely.
· Input accounting entries and ensure the integrity of data in the system.
· Maintain a proper filing system to ensure files are recorded.
· Assist Tax Agent in the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in Singapore.
· Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statement.
· Conduct cost accounting activities to monitor and control expenses.
· Assist in monthly closing of accounts & processing month end journal.
· Analyze & prepare GST reports, perform monthly bank reconciliation.
· Assist in the internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes accurately and in a timely manner.
· Perform additional accounting task assigned by the Finance/Accounting Manager and Group CFO.
· Handling of all Accounts related matters.
· Provide general office admin support being assigned by manager/CFO.
· Receive telephone calls and direct callers to the appropriate officers and provide available information, where required.
· Travel overseas as and when required.
· Perform any job assigned from time to time by the Management.
