Overview
The candidate must be an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual with real passion for new age digital transformation profession who would work closely with our Division Manager and (internal / external) stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of services.
To be successful in this role, one should possess the quality of a PMO professional who will have a proven track record in planning, coordination, and management of large-scale banking projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. The candidate will also work closely with the client’s internal/external stakeholders to track and implement solutions that relates to quality or process improvements.
Key Area of Responsibilities (KAR):
- Project scheduling and resource planning, considering dependencies.
- Management of project issues and document creation for management reporting.
- Setting evaluation criteria (e.g., Critical Points) and coordinating with related departments (e.g., IT, Compliance).
- Responding to regulatory requirements and supporting administrative tasks.
- Regularly reporting on progress, challenges, and solutions to leadership.
- Project scheduling and resource planning for projects overall considering dependency of each of them
- Responsible for Trade Finance PMO for PM Support
- Support provision for Trade Finance business area PM’s project leading & managing activities.
- Develop standardized rules and processes of project management, such as constructing reporting structures, determine reporting contents, etc.
- Cost and Resource Coordination across Trade Finance business area, working closely with Cross Functional PMO and Trade Finance Business Area PM.
- Progress and issue management of BA, User Task members and Developers in the Trade Finance business area.
- Consolidate status report within Trade Finance business area in charge, and reporting to Cross Functional PMO and Management.
- Coordination with stakeholders inside and outside of the Trade Finance business area, including Business and IT, to ensure meeting their needs and expectations.
- Negotiation with stakeholders among Business (Transaction Banking Section / Operation Section / Front Office and so on) and IT in case making decision (i.e. complete negotiation of giving up some requirement to meet deadline)
- Provide support for other related duties.
Requirements:
- Extensive PMO experience in core banking projects, trade finance projects or corporate lending projects.
- Proven ability to lead PMO tasks independently.
- Experiences in bank industry as a bank employee (will be added advantage), or experiences of service provision to bank industry as a consultant.
- Familiarity with package system implementation.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Mindset to not fear challenge / undertake risk.
- Strong expertise in Trade Finance.
- It’s preferable to have experience in package system implementation, e.g CGITrade360.
- It’s preferable to have experience in package system implementation, e.g ACBS implementation.
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Hands-on experience interacting with users to gather and refine requirements.
- Strong focus on creating user-friendly and efficient automation tools.
- Able to commence work within short notice
