Job Description & Requirements

• Aluminium and Steel Drafter
• Involved in design, coordination and preparation of Shopdrawings and to liaise with Project Managers and Engineers for technical drawings and submission approval
• Review and verify drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines
• Maintain good document control and filing
• Able to undertake any other duties assigned

Requirement:

• Shop drawing preparation and well versed using Tekla Structures or Autodesk advance steel, AutoCAD and Sketch-up software
• Min. 4 to 6 years’ experience (in structural steel detailing is an added advantage)
• Independent and a team players to work with project teams and peers
• Good analytical, communication, organizing and interpersonal skills

• Adherence to regulatory standards and specifications, providing detailed reports on findings.
• Manage variations and changes to project scope, cost and schedule.
• Preparing construction plans to ensure high-quality work
• Visiting the construction site regularly to ensure safety measures are observe
• Managing a project's budget, including contracts for large construction projects
• Cost estimation and budget management.
• Procurement of materials and services.
• Contract administration and dispute resolution.
• Risk identification and mitigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in construction project management.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• To manage tender works including provide the directions on planning, construction technique, quality of tender submission documents, risk and issue management, tender price negotiation with suppliers and subcons for finalization.
• Assess tender documents, scope of works, checking the feasibility for qualification, financial criteria.
• Prepare presentations, risk matrix, information to top management to get approval for bidding.
• Responsible for the technical & commercial bids as per the tender requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure updated documents and drawings are issued to the client and subcontractor
• Monitor the progress and keep track of the project timelines.
• Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update progress of work
• Ensure quality of work is achieved and all government and safety regulation are complied.
• Oversee drawing management and control of technical documentation
• Oversee and manage procurement of resources, control material usage on site.
• Organize labor, equipment and material for day to day site activities
