We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Corporate Services Manager. As a key member of our corporate governance team, you will be responsible for providing Corporate Secretarial assistance, guidance in relation to other related matters.
You will report to the Director, be based in Singapore or Malaysia, and be responsible for Corporate Secretarial work.
Job Description:
• Manage and oversee a portfolio of companies, liaising with auditors as needed.
• Handle the full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties for the portfolio of companies.
• This includes company incorporations, striking off of companies, preparation of directors' and shareholders' resolutions, the timely lodgement of documents with ACRA, maintenance of statutory records, managing local registrations of the foreign branches and representative offices of foreign-incorporated companies, application of employment passes, and other on-going corporate secretarial matters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements for the portfolio of clients and respond to queries from regulators and authorities on behalf of the clients in a timely manner.
• Assistance with the drafting and updating of corporate governance precedents and the corporate secretarial database.
• Provide client support through phone and email correspondence, adhering to clients' standard operating procedures.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and implement new KYC, AML, CFT and client onboarding guidelines as necessary.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to contribute to the efficient functioning of the team.
Requirements:
• Preferably graduate of ICSA or currently pursuing ICSA course. Degree / Advance Dip / Dip of Law or Accounting or Business Management or Business Administration
• Good understanding of basic company law requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive work attitude with strong initiatives and a team player
• Strong communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa is a plus.
