Job Description:
- Day-to-day customer service and procurement activities - Responsible for managing daily customer service operations and manage entire supply chain process from procurement to distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Demand planning - Work closely with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand accurately.
- Production Planning - Collaborate with Operations team to develop production schedules and optimize the production planning that align with demand forecasts.
- Inventory Management - Work within the team to implement robust inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels. Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, taking proactive measures to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Logistics Coordination - Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and customs clearance. Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers and customers. Develop good vendor management with warehouse personnel for effective inventory control.
- Licensing - Manage all license requirements for Import/Export & transportation with compliance to Government Authority of Singapore.
- Collaboration and Communication - Work with product management team to review product specification/technical data. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by Team leader / Management.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or any Engineering field.
- Minimum of 2 Years of working experience in a related field.
- Preferably with related experience in Chemical Distribution/ Semiconductor industries.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and ideally proficient in Chinese (in order to negotiate and handle queries with overseas Mandarin speaking suppliers/vendors in regards with the import & export shipment arrangement matters).
- Hands on experience using SAP/Navision system, strong in Microsoft Office, especially Excel would be an advantage.
- Experience in ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001.
- Ability to prioritize workload, make systematic decisions under pressure.
- Possess an entrepreneurial ‘can do’ mindset, able to work in a start-up environment.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills and sense of ownership.
- Willing to travel if required.
