In this role, you will be the subject matter expert for grants and ensure compliance and accountability in grant administration. You will need to build a good rapport with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives and deliver good client experience. A suitable candidate may deputize the Team Lead.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team to oversee the day-to-day administration of grant processing matters, including the review and approval of applications and claims.
• Engage, influence, and communicate with stakeholders on policies and procedures to ensure good governance and consistency in grant administration activities.
• Responsible for effective and efficient SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), be actively involved in the implementation and undertake improvements or updates to the SOPs.
• Provide consultation and advice to team members in executing policies, system processes and ensure smooth & efficient daily operations and accurate data records.
• Track, analyze and report processing data to Team Lead and senior management, including preparing monthly Ops reports, processing targets and other reports. Handle audit activities as and when required.
• Handle administrative duties, and undertake ad-hoc assignments to events/ projects assigned by management or HR.

Job Requirements

• Qualifications in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, Data Science or other relevant disciplines
• At least 8 years in grants management/administration or experience in conducting audit, evaluation and/or claims related work
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem solving, analytical and systems thinking abilities required
• Good communication skills (written, spoken and presentation) and detail-oriented
• Good team player with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative

• Oversee IT projects throughout the life cycle, from requirements gathering, crafting of contract specifications and procurement to implementation.
• Drive and oversee resolution of operations and support incidents.
• Set direction for continuous improvement of operational procedures and customer experience.
• Recommend enhancements to improve systems availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of supporting documentation.
• Formulate disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Oversee disaster recovery plan drills and activities to determine if technical criteria is met.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards.
• Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations for adopting new technologies to improve IT services.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Preferably minimum 10-12 years of design, implementation, and operation experience, with good knowledge in cloud technologies and cloud security solutions, infrastructure and network design, servers and storage and virtualisation.
• Well versed in IT Service Management, Project Management and Vendor Management.
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organisational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
• Experience in team leadership.
• Knowledge of IT best practices, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise with strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as a strong team player who is proactive, quality-conscious, and results-oriented.
