The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the entire supply chain process for the Company. This includes material planning for all our projects, including forecasting inventory needs, procurement, inventory management, overseeing logistics and ensuring timely deliveries to our project sites. You will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships including warehouse operator, and to ensure that our projects have the necessary materials available on time, within budget and in compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
1. Vendor qualification, relationships and negotiation
- Source & procure materials, equipment & sub-contractor services that comply with Energetix’s and industry’s codes, specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to carry out due diligence to qualify materials, equipment & sub-contractor services to be included on Energetix’s approved vendor list (AVL).
- Negotiate favourable contract terms and conditions including Master Supply Agreements for major and fast-moving materials.
- Maintain database of pricing and lead times for all equipment on the AVL.
2. Material & resource planning
- Perform demand and supply matching on a fortnightly basis or as needed to ensure materials needed for pipeline and adhoc projects are covered, while keeping holding costs low.
- Coordinate with Admin & Accounts Payable to issue POs and process invoices on a timely basis to cover supply gaps.
- Track and ensure materials are delivered on time and readily available when needed.
3. Project-level management
- Maintain database of current information for all components including but not limited to modules, inverters, structures, blocks, cables, connectors and consumables.
- Coordinate supply chain activities with Project Management team to align activities with project schedules.
4. Warehousing & logistics
- Coordinate with external warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and inventory updates
- Oversee internal stores and warehouse management, including material withdrawal for projects & materials availability checks
- Work with warehouse operation team to maintain accurate of book-to-physical integrity through regular cycle count and accurate receiving and withdrawal.
