We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Consultant / Consulting Director specializing in Sustainable Operations to join and lead our dynamic team in Singapore. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects focused on creating and implementing sustainable operations strategies, with a particular emphasis on EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) management systems, water management, and waste management.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and sustainability goals, providing expert guidance and solutions tailored to their needs.
• Drive commercial objectives and work closely with partners for sales development, client outreach, driving revenue growth and achieving business targets.
• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems for clients across various industries.
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in EHS practices and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients in the integration of EHS management into their overall business operations.
• Support in nurturing relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Support maintaining robust sales pipeline, actively pursuing new business opportunities.
• Support and lead new Go-To-Market plans for Sustainable Operations team covering decarbonization, circular economy, monitoring, reporting and verification service
• Support business development efforts, contributing to proposals, presentations, and client engagement to secure new projects and expand existing partnerships.

Key Requirements:

• Master’s degree in environmental science or engineering, or related discipline.
• Bring 10 to 15 years of robust experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management, including thorough compliance audits and effective waste management strategies. Demonstrated success in asset or facility-level EHS initiatives is essential.
• Track record of delivering successful sustainability and EHS projects across diverse global markets, working with multinational clients to navigate complex regulatory environments and implement sustainable strategies.
• Exhibit a strong grasp of sustainability frameworks, greenhouse gas inventories, and the principles of a circular economy, showcasing your commitment to environmental stewardship.
• Proven ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and adeptly manage intricate projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Experience as an Internal or Lead Auditor for ISO Management Systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14064, with additional external certification as an asset.
• Demonstrated expertise in program management, showcasing your ability to engage with global clients, navigate complex project scopes, and effectively collaborate with subcontractors and digital partners.

ERM is seeking a self-motivated Safety & Risk Consultant to join our Singapore office. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging safety and risk projects for large global clients. You will work closely with Partners-In Charge and Principal Consultants on various risk management projects and at the same time have access to ERM's international risk management experts who provide knowledge sharing of best practices across the industry and ongoing learning opportunities for the team.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Provide technical assistance on safety and risk projects involving risk analysis, modelling, calculations, and other studies.
• Perform robust technically sound analysis based on reasoned argument and defensible data/information. Typical analysis and studies include:
  • Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA)
  • Fire and explosion modelling
  • Gas & smoke dispersion modelling

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s degree and/or Professional Memberships (IChemE, AIChE), Functional and Process Safety Certifications (TUV, CFSP/ CFSE, etc) is a plus.
• At least 8 years with Technical Safety/Process Safety/Safety Engineering experience and projects under a variety of local, regional and national regulatory standards.
• Possess strong written, verbal communication and data presentation skills.
• Have experience managing small to mid sized projects, and have led a small team in delivering such projects
• Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management is a strong plus

This role is to support expansion of ERM Singapore as the Southeast Asia (SEA) Hub and will be based at our Singapore office.

As a Managing / Principal Consultant, you will be expected to:

• Lead delivery of proposals, which will include development of our company profile, technical scopes of work, scheduling and commercial terms;
• Assist / lead on projects that provide our clients with a technical, operational and business plan evaluation of their proposed investment on infrastructure assets;
• Lead the coordination of typical project deliverables such as Q&A submission, management sessions, client meetings and report delivery;
• Work effectively across technical communities within ERM and subcontractors who are identified as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support project delivery and client interaction; and
• Complete internal development tasks to improve the functionality of ERM’s Transaction Advisory service line.

Job Requirements and Skills :

Essential:

• A solid academic background with an engineering bias (for example, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering).
• 8 to 15 years of technical consulting, technical due diligence, lenders, buyers, sellers transaction advisory, engineering and operational experience during your career within the power, solar, renewable energy and/or infrastructure sectors.
• Must have experience with Solar PV systems, battery storage systems, operational performance reviews, technology review, energy yield assessment, financial model review and cost estimations.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to identify technical risks and opportunities within technical documentation and due diligence processes.
• Experience with site visits, site inspections and technical discussions, relating to asset integrity, operational performance, management systems and/or business plans.
• Demonstrates excellent organisational skills, self-motivation, self-sufficiency and the ability to work successfully in a fast turnaround team environment.
• Must be able to promote and execute quality work, and ensure high standards are being achieved by yourself and the team.
• Must exhibit advanced report writing and presentation skills. Experience in a client facing role.

Desirable:
