We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our team in the industrial industry. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling electronic testing equipment to industrial clients. Your main objective will be to drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and provide technical expertise to support the sales process.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for electronic testing equipment of existing and new accounts.
- Develop sales opportunities including sales visits, preparation of proposals, products & proposals presentation, contracts negotiation and closing of sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal parties like sales ordering and technical teams to ensure the seamless implementation of projects and provide comprehensive post-sales support to customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments and competitors’ activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Market a diverse range of products and offer customers tailored solutions to fulfill their needs and demands.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and engage in annual and periodic budget exercises
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Electronics / Telecommunication or Engineering with at least 1 to 2 year of relevant work experience in electronic testing / laboratory fields.
- Knowledge in AC/DC, EMC, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
- Bilingual with good communication skill & has pleasant personality and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate solutions.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Resourceful, result-oriented and committed to work.
- Possess own transport.
- Applicants possess customer base in Johor and Batam will be a plus.
- Preference will be given to those with proven sales track record in relevant industries.
