We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Sales Manager (Cybersecurity) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within the cybersecurity domain by managing the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to the successful closure of projects. You will leverage your deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and trends to engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales, strong project management skills, and a deep knowledge of cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Leadership: Lead the sales strategy for cybersecurity solutions, identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity challenges and requirements. Offer tailored cybersecurity solutions that meet their business needs and security objectives.
• Project Management: Oversee the delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring projects are executed according to agreed timelines, budgets, and scope. Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project success.
• Proposal and Solution Development: Develop compelling proposals, RFP responses, and presentations that align cybersecurity solutions with the client’s objectives. Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate solution design and scope definition.
• Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets through a mix of direct sales and project-based engagements.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, with at least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related technical field. Experience in selling complex IT or security solutions is strongly preferred.
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., firewall, endpoint security, cloud security, vulnerability management, risk assessment, etc.).
• Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving new business, and managing long sales cycles in a technical environment.
• Project Management: Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including timeline management, client communications, and delivering solutions on time and within budget.
• Certifications (Optional but Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
