Job Description:
As an Electrical Draughtsman, you will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical schematics, plans, and diagrams based on the specifications provided by engineers and architects. Your work will directly support the development of electrical systems that adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce detailed electrical drawings, plans, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
- Work closely with electrical engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet technical and regulatory requirements.
- Modify and update existing electrical designs based on feedback and changes in project scope.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of electrical drawings.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation and project reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Review and verify designs to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Coordinate with other departments and project teams to align electrical designs with overall project goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman or in a similar role within electrical engineering or design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety codes.
- Ability to interpret and produce electrical diagrams and schematics from engineering specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers.
- A relevant qualification in electrical engineering or drafting is preferred.
