To coordinate ocean freight services, products and operations.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in handling carrier and vendor relations
- Resolve capacity and service issues with carriers and vendors
- Assist with ocean freight costing & pricing
- Conduct margin analysis to identify opportunities to improve margin
- Support the customer service to ensure all operational queries and issues are resolved timely
- Perform data analysis and provide feedback to management
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Academic:
Experience & knowledge:
- At least two (2)years experience in freight forwarding industry
- Experience with Cargowise highly preferred.
- Fluent in English and local languages
- Proficient in MS Office applications
