My employer (local SME) in warehouse and logistics services is looking for the following candidate:
Class 3 Delivery Driver Position available.
- 14ft (Box) lorry without tailgate.
- Islandwide delivery
- Local deliveries and Taobao loads.
- Ensure cargo is delivered in good condition and safely.
- Plan out efficient route for delivery and to perform driving duties with safe driving habits (clean traffic record).
- To comply to local traffic regulations and abide to speed limit and all vehicle safety regulations.
- Do not use handphone unless taking calls of making emergency calls during deliveries.
- Must obey rules and regualtion of transporter in any delivery yard/warehouse.
- Do not take pictures of delivery yard/warehouse without approval.
- Physically fit as loads can be demanding at times (25kg or more at times and assistant provided). Proper manual handling of cargo is essential.
- Perform driving duties with safe driving habits (clean traffic record).
- Ensure the vehicle is well maintained (cleanliness & standard vehicle maintenance) and meets all safety requirements.
- Opportunity to earn Overtime pay (peak season).
- On-the-job training provided for inexperienced delivery driver.
- Teamwork, reliable, punctual, good work ethic and safety conscious.
Return vehicle to company for the days not working or absent from work.
Working hours:
Mon - Fri: 8am to 5pm
Sat: 8am to 12pm
