The Supply Chain Analyst will be based in Changi South, Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Overall ownership to drive sourcing, cost and delivery.
• CBOM management, quotes leadership, Purchasing parameters management.
• Interface with customer on project milestone, Supply Chain initiatives.
• Lead-up cross-functional team between Flex & Customers, plan & drive execution of all Procurement & Supply Chain activities.
• Manage Supply Chain Initiatives includes lead time improvement, payment term, delivery terms, contractual agreement on SMI/VMI.
• Manage NPI, ensure material readiness to meet program Schedules.
• Manage cost saving /re-design Initiatives (lead, by accounts), take lead to drive on cost savings initiatives/re-design initiatives, price benchmark.
• Manage ECN implementation, tracking & execution.
• Manage localization plan, alternate sourcing activities.
• AOS Management during build phase and initial production phase.

Job Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Requires minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain/Procurement.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to start work within short notice period will be an added advantage.

• Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
• Interfaces with customers or suppliers in new project start-ups, for cost of ownership issues.
• Develops and guides the implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
• Manages component cost/price on a local, regional, and global basis.
• Tracks material's financial performance and initiates corrective actions when required.
• Defines and implements pricing and costing strategies.
• Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
• Develop and implement cost take-down strategies.
• Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.

Supply Management:

• Manage regional supplier contract negotiations, which includes Memorandums of Comprehension, Non-disclosure and regional pricing agreements.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Measure and report Purchase Price Variance and initiate action plans.
• Monitor and manage supplier times.
• Mitigates shortages, excess on order and excess on hand.
• Participate on and help global and regional commodity teams.
• Contribute information/data on top spend suppliers for quarterly scorecards.

Customer Supply Chain Management:

• Manages material cost reviews. identify, implement and drive actions for Retained Purchase Price Variance (RPPV) optimization.
• Drive reconciliation process with customer (PPV, Premium charges, carrying costs, freight charges, excess and obsolete
• inventory, Non-cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR), etc.)
• Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plan.
• Coordinate quarterly/monthly PPV hard call process.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain.
• Design/management or other related area.
• Must have an understanding of cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends, and technologies.
• A background in electronics manufacturing and a thorough understanding of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) products.
