The primary role of a Design Manager is to manage all design work required during construction projects. This includes overseeing the production of technical drawings and plans used to build a structure. You ensure that all designs are produced on time and to a high quality and that they are coordinated with the work of architects, engineers and technicians. You also oversee the design process using technical expertise to ensure that designs meet the client’s expectations.
