Fratelli Cosulich Singapore Finance team oversee the management and general accounting, treasury and fiscal operations of a set of entities, established in Asia (mainly Singapore and Hong Kong), part of the Fratelli Cosulich Group.
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support and oversee the above operations, including support to a team of 3 accountants.
The role will be reporting to the Fratelli Cosulich Singapore Finance Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Review and approve monthly GST report that is prepared by an accountant
2. Reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts to process rebilling to third parties and support the accountants when there are questions arise
3. Prepare FRS116 schedules when there is lease renewal
4. Conduct regular ledger maintenance
5. Prepare reports for intercompany rebilling
6. Account payables and receivable for Singapore and Hong Kong entities
7. Assist and guide the daily account operation for the assigned entities
8. Work closely with the team of accountants and provide support by addressing transaction-related queries as needed
9. Assist with audit and taxes (such as ECI filing, Corporate Tax filing, withholding tax filing)
10. Check and, if needed, approve the monthly expense claims prepared by HR and ensure costs are allocated properly.
11. Maintain relationships with Auditors, Bankers and third parties by supporting the Finance Manager
12. Assist in month end closing and year end closing of the account
13. Review Fixed assets schedule and monitor the correctness of the file.
14. Maintain proper filing of Loan Schedules for Finance Manager review
15. Monitor bank facilities renewal date and maintain proper filings
16. Support the Finance Manager, as needed, in the preparation of the assigned entities Financial Statements
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- 3 to 5 years of exprience as an accountant or auditor
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger operations and administration processes ( i.e. order to cash, procure to pay, payroll, financial reporting, etc)
- Accuracy and attention to detail, solid work ethic
- Certification (i.e. ACCA): qualified or part qualified preferred
