We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure efficient and effective handling of goods and inventory. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse staff, coordinating daily activities, and implementing best practices to optimize productivity and maintain a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Coordinate with the procurement and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and implement appropriate strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Maintain a safe working environment and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and national regulations.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track and monitor inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve any issues related to order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Prepare reports and present data on warehouse activities and performance to management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role, with a minimum of [X] years in warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and logistics principles.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
