Job Title: Project Director
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Director to lead and oversee the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Director will be responsible for all aspects of project planning, execution, and closeout, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Provide overall leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that projects meet the highest standards of workmanship and comply with all relevant regulations.
- Safety Management: Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project challenges and risks, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop project team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Certifications: Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is preferred.
- Skills:Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
