Scope of Responsibilities :
- Responsible for leadership and general management of all medical affairs activities for Nemolizumab in JPAC
- Collaborate with country medical leads to ensure implementation of robust medical plans and KTL engagement strategies
- In collaboration with the Global Medical Indication Lead, develop and implement medical strategy for nemolizumab in Prurigo Nodularis and Atopic Dermatitis with JPAC affiliates.
- Understand and develop Medical Affairs strategy and plans, the unmet medical needs and patient access needs to contribute to impactful patient outcomes.
- Adapt the global medical affairs plans to local needs
- Attendance at key global/regional meetings
- Ensure the development and implementation of an effective franchise medical communication strategy and plan for each nemolizumab indications linked to the affiliate annual brand plan.
- Lead the scientific collaboration with the medical community, building, strengthening the regional and local external expert relationship.
- Lead Phase IV, IIS & data gaps analysis for region
- Support identification of regional or local professional societies needs through an empathetic close interaction.
- Develop and maintain best in class external KTL engagement plan with multi stakeholders in Dermatology.
- Develop and execute internal training material related to disease state, medical strategy and new nemolizumab data.
- Support the onboarding and learning of country MSLs.
- Ensure local countries have the required material to drive successful medical launch strategy.
- Ensure Medical Affairs activities are designed and executed in compliance companywide policy guidelines and medical quality standards.
Requirement :
- Medical Degree (MD), Medical scientific PhD or another adequate Natural Science (PharmD) higher degree is required. Dermatology or Immunology expertise is essential.
- 7+ years of successful experience in local or regional medical affairs role
- Pre-launch/launch experience with specialty medicines in the field of specialty product in dermatology / immunology / allergy / rheumatology required (ie: biologics)
- Business acumen and market knowledge is required. Possess a thorough understanding of the regional markets, competitive landscape, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Leadership Capability. Able to achieve organizational focus on key priorities.
- Innovative thinking, good judgment, and sense of ethics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with key opinion leaders and the medical/scientific communities at large.
- Strong interpersonal skills - ability to interact with all levels within the organization and to deal with key opinion leaders and the medical/scientific communities at large.
- Ability to think strategically to guide publication-related activities in accordance with industry standards and good publication practices.
- Strong budget planning & execution expertise
