At Genetec, we know that hiring, retaining and managing the best talent is a key driver to our collective success. We are looking for a passionate, ambitious, self-motivated, results-driven Channel Account Executive to help us achieve our objectives.
The role of the Channel Account Executive is to provide support for Genetec partners and help them to execute account management strategies to drive sales and business growth. The Channel Account Executive is based in Singapore and will report to the Country Manager.
What your day will look like:
- Plan, forecast, manage and deliver consistent long-term profitable channel growth
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key contacts within channel partner accounts
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis
- Discover and track opportunities, follow up and distribute leads to Channel Partners and Account Executives
- Identify and coordinate technical training requirements to ensure partner success
- Host Sales 101 training on Genetec tools and portals
- Utilize your expertise of the Genetec product portfolio to conduct customer demos
- Coordinate the quarterly / annual channel business review process
- Establish internal relationships within the sales team and communicate regularly with Account Executives to ensure top notch customer support through all levels of the organization
- Update and maintain data in CRM and other applications
- Acquire, maintain, and report adequate knowledge of product, market and competition
- Work cross-functionally throughout the organization to deliver on company goals
- Responsible for Channel recruitment and mapping of solution, strength and industry vertical focus and align with Country Manager on strategic plans
- To meet country manager sales objectives by building channel sales pipeline, preparing forecasts and budgets, analyzing variances between forecasts and budgets and actual sales and initiating corrective differentiation
- Be the point of contact between internal team and partners through the entire onboarding process.
- Conduct regular business planning and review with focused partners, driving field activities from partners to promote business growth.
- Coordinate with Marketing team to conduct regular workshop and campaigns
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers on leads assignment, overseeing deal progression with partners.
- Ensure accuracy of channel database and pipeline updates in CRM.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on Genetec’s product, roadmaps competition, pricing market share and key product differentiation
- Stay abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends by, among other things, reading pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services
About you:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience, in Security or IT Industry, with VMS, Access Control, or PSIM system
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience in the security or IT industry with ability to maintain contacts at different levels
- Ability to work in a complex sales environment
- Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers, integrators, consultants
- Proven sales achievement / track record
- Excellent communicator either by phone, in writing or face-to-face
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Attention to detail and process oriented
- Able to work independently within a team environment
- IP technology understanding and networking expertise will be considered an asset
