Senior Quality Lab Analyst, Taste & Wellbeing in Singapore – Your future position?

Location: Woodlands, Singapore

As a Senior Quality Lab Analyst, T&W with Givaudan, you will manage the quality compliance for both finished goods and raw materials following stipulated guidelines. You will report directly to the Head of Quality , Taste & Wellbeing and also will:

Core Responsibilities

• Perform sensory evaluation, chemical, physical testing of flavouring products or ingredients to ensure that products are conforms to requirements standard and specification.
• Responsible for approval/rejection decisions on finished products and raw materials and review of test methods, specifications and procedures/work instructions
• Support microbiological testing of flavouring products, raw material, environmental and water.
• Lead quality investigations of products and raw materials and follow up on closure on quality related matters.
• Lead the Cleaning and Environmental Monitoring Programme
• Maintenance of laboratory / Quality Control equipment includes monitoring equipment calibration.
• Identify opportunity for improvements in QC
• To implement HACCP, FSSC 22000 and EHS in daily working activities and supporting all audit (include customer audit).

Technical Skills:

• Laboratory or QC techniques required.
• Basic Sensory evaluation capability
• Operational experience on laboratory system, analytical equipment and instruments and microbiological testing experience
• Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.

Academic Background:

• Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology with minimum 2 years experience in QC OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology with/without experience in QC

As an Infrastructure Analyst, you will be able to manage IT infrastructure projects and operations to ensure effec-

tive functioning in the area of network & telecommunications, local applications hosting, local hardware and servers, according to business and IT needs.

In this exciting role, these are some of the responsibilities you'd be able to hold:

IT Infrastructure Design & Delivery

• Collaborate with Regional Service Desk and IT Competency Center resources on ongoing projects
• Implement local IT projects
• Build implementations of global projects
• Maintain understanding of technology trends and directions

IT Infrastructure Operations

• Manage servers, storage, networking, appliances, virtualization, mobility and remote access services
• Support enterprise-wide LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and IP telephony
• Manage infrastructure inventories and lifecycle
• Ensure availability and continuity of the infrastructure services in the scope
• Manage technical solutions operated in the sites under your responsibility
• Involved in Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management
• Provide solutions based on Service Level Goals
• Escalate recurring or impactful issues to problem managers
• Contribute to resolution of problem following priorities defined by the problem manager
• Propose or recommend Infrastructure Service modifications
• Ensure all technical Documentation is produced and updated
• Coordinate and help deliver relevant DR Tests

Primary Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's Degree holder in IT related fields
• 4 to 10 years experience in IT infrastructure support

Technical Skills

• WAN - Performance monitoring, troubleshooting and support
• LAN - Cisco h/w and IOS related to LAN & WLAN infrastructure
• VoIP/IP Telephony - Preferably on Cisco-based infrastructure
• Virtualization - Managing VMWare environments
• Backup & DR - Physical and Virtual infrastructure and systems
• Windows Server OS & Active Directory Storage Management solutions
• Mobility solutions
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery strategies for systems deployed on multiple platforms
• Knowledgeable with tooling to automate monitoring and procedures
• VMWare certification is an added advantage
