Maintenance Supervisor - Your future position?
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the Maintenance & Service Function to provide safe, quality, efficient and effective maintenance services to support the Singapore Fragrance Site manufacturing and commercial operations at Pioneer Site. He will also be covered the Mechanical and Electrical scope for Utility and Facility.
Location: Pioneer, Singapore
Reporting to: Site Engineering Manager
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Maintenance and Service team to follow up on work orders and ensure timely execution and completion to WO and time booking,
- Provide team leadership and administrative support to the Maintenance and Service team,
Work with engineers to drive optimisation of the allocation of resources for the maintenance activities.
- Comply with all site HSE requirements and participate actively in HSE site wide program (e.g. work permit, LOTO, safety inspection), never put oneself and others at safety & health risks, and report any workplace incidents, near misses and hazards as soon as practicable.
- Active participation with stakeholders to address safety concerns.
- Ensure safe and quality service of Utilities and Waste Water operation to support all end users.
- Work with Utility Engineer to establish HT/LV, Utilities and Waste water procedures, maintenance service contracts and maintenance programs to maintain compliance with regulatory codes, corporate and budgetary requirements, and to sustain safe, reliable and efficient operation
- Establish effective service contracts/agreement with vendors with the necessary spare part list and effective inventory level to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
- Collaborate with Integrated Facility Management (IFM) to ensure to prompt maintenance and service to ensure essential IFM services e.g. Fire Alarm, Fire Protection, Domestic Water Supply
- Review through maintenance service reports, preventive maintenance checklists, repair log sheet and equipment downtime to improve the Utilities and Facility systems
- Lead/Participate in Root Cause analysis and Safety Incidents, implement corrective & preventive measures and drive records for timely closure to prevent recurrence.
- Lead and work together with E&IC team in the Power Shutdown for the HT/LV switchgear and VSD maintenance.
- Drive/support initiatives to meet department and site goals
- Support site expansion, CAPEX and continuous improvement projects
- Participate and drive continuous improvement according to site Continuous Improvement and Sustainability Initiatives.
- Department EHS lead to drive EHS initiatives and compliance in the department including being Risk Assessment Facilitator
- Maintain and support all site activities according to accreditation standards in the scope of the QMS [ISO 9001 & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)]
- Carries out any other works and tasks as directed by Manager
Academic Background:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of plant utilities and facilities system including electrical system
- Preferably with experience in FMCG, Pharmaceutical chemicals or petrochemicals industry
Technical Skills:
- Familiar with basic usage of SAP (Maintenance module)
Strong interpersonal skills and organisation ability and proven performance in problem solving.
- A self-starter who can work on his/her own initiative and team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively across functional teams and at multiple-levels within organisation
- Strong hands-on skill and proficiency in analytical and communication skills
- Good knowledge of regulatory rules and regulation and EHS requirements
- Familiar with Building Management System
- Familiar with HT/LV and HVAC Systems
- Preferably to have LEW certification
