> Academic background:

· Bachelor/Master degree in Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related areas

> Experience:

· At least 10 years of Marketing B2B experience (additional B2C is an advantage) in an international environment, including marketing strategy

Responsibilities

· Formulate new flavour creations or modify existing flavours to meet customer requirements, internal testing needs, or new technology development for multiple flavour types for Savoury segment

· Prepare flavour samples as requested for customer briefs, applications needs, technology performance assessment, QC standards, physical testing, etc.

· Participate in the evaluation of materials developed internally or from external sources and assess potential for flavour creation

· Execute daily tasks and fully manage assigned projects and provide flavours which meet all defined project needs, considering when relevant good manufacturing practices, sample scale-up, production requirements, regulatory compliance, etc.

· When requested, serve as technical expert to resolve flavour production issues and customer complaints and complete ownership of created flavours

· Coach, train, motivate, and mentor flavour assistants

· Participate and learn about all areas of the company (analytical chemistry, sensory, consumer understanding, regulatory, flavour delivery, manufacturing, etc.)

· Serve as technical expert and advisor to internal and external partners and customers for ingredient and flavour performance for multiple flavour types

· Contribute to discussions of research plans, sensory results/insights, making experimental observations and helping to make connections to related, but separate technologies

Professional Experience

· Minimum 3 years of savoury creation experience after completion of Flavourist Trainee Programme or accepted industry equivalent

Technical Skills

· Expert level tasting skills with an intermediate level ability to understand how to adjust a flavour formulation in the direction needed for flavour modifications

· Strong knowledge of raw materials and flavour ingredients with an expert level ability to formulate selected flavour types to deliver flavour performance for customer briefs, problem solving processes, research and development needs, etc.

· Ability to interface with customers and effectively discuss the flavour creation needs for selected flavour types and provide direction to help solve flavour performance issues in their applications

· Ability to prepare and present complex flavour creation related technical presentations

· Strong level knowledge of application equipment, ingredients, and manufacturing procedures

Regional Supply Planning Expert

Main Responsibilities

1 - Project management

• Deployment of Planning initiatives at regional and local/site level to optimize the balance of cost and quality of customer services
• Identify and drive continuous improvement programs both internally and together with Supply Planning partners to deliver targeted service levels and costsLead change resulting from continuous improvement and/or supply chain initiatives (e.g. SCM Excellence, Regional PC)
• Monitor service level (by the mean of KPIs) to achieve customer satisfaction, reduce complaints/damaged goods and solve repetitive problems with internal/external suppliers
• Actively participate to Regional Supply Chain Management projects
• Coordinate idea generation to project process for the regional supply organization

2 - Subject matter expertise

• Provide direction on Supply Planning activities in the Sites
• Use performance management to actively improve processes, suggesting actions/ projects/ programs

Main Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline
• Min. 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong background in supply chain planning, quality and/or materials management, including exposure to business process redesign and systems implementations

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned regional product and technology portfolio to ensure it is relevant, competent, competitive and profitable, and aligned with the business strategy
• Own the Definition, Development and Commercialization of regionally-driven product development initiatives
• Work closely with the technical and marketing teams in the region and sub-regions, as well as with the Global Product Managers (GPM)
• Become regional subject matter expert (SME) for assigned products and technologies.
• Work with Portfolio Managers to leverage collections as an internal promotional tool for new products and technologies.
• Define product and technology needs and gaps, quantify opportunities, and establish business justification for new regional projects.
• Work with sub regions to craft and elevate compelling business cases to GPM on regional opportunities and needs (incl. sales/profit projections, regulatory requirements, product performance expectations). • Help deliver Sales and Gross Margin targets, working closely with Commercial Heads, and with the pricing team to define price levels
• Ensure that new ingredients and regional versions of flavours are provided to all Flavour Innovation Centres with all appropriate information related to the new products (regulatory requirement, pricing)

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master's in Food Science, Biology, or Chemistry
• Application, Product Development or Product Management or B2B Marketing within the food or flavour industry of at least 10 years in Savoury or Sweet segment
• Demonstrated project management skills with experience interacting and collaborating with commercial, marketing and technical teams

• Perform sensory evaluation, chemical, physical testing of flavouring products or ingredients to ensure that products are conforms to requirements standard and specification.
• Responsible for approval/rejection decisions on finished products and raw materials and review of test methods, specifications and procedures/work instructions
• Support microbiological testing of flavouring products, raw material, environmental and water.
• Lead quality investigations of products and raw materials and follow up on closure on quality related matters.
• Lead the Cleaning and Environmental Monitoring Programme
• Maintenance of laboratory / Quality Control equipment includes monitoring equipment calibration.
• Identify opportunity for improvements in QC
• To implement HACCP, FSSC 22000 and EHS in daily working activities and supporting all audit (include customer audit).

As a Material Management Executive, Taste & Wellbeing with Givaudan, you will support the departments within Givaudan Supply Chain Management Team. In this exciting role, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and also will:

Main Responsibilities

• Review Customer & Affiliate order demand and commit based on material availability to meet service delivery.
• Handle daily raw material replenishment to support Customer orders and forecast. Review and expedite raw material to support surge in demand.
• Resolve or escalate issues related to orders, working with production, customer care and regional affiliates.
• Partner with Demand Planner and Customer care on Forecasting gaps so as to make Customer feel valued with order support.
• Close collaboration and communication with cross functional partners eg. Manufacturing, Quality and Distribution regarding fulfillment of expedites.
• Work with Quality and Procurement Team to solve raw material / Packaging issues.
• Ensure optimum inventory to meet Management Target at Month end and Year end.
