Typical daily tasks will involve:
- Cutting of wire rope from wire rope coil and fit wire rope ends using a hydraulic press.
- Cutting of alloy chain from drum and assemble into chain slings using a hydraulic cutter
- Stacking/ stock arrangement of incoming new stocks
- Manufacturing of bulk wire rope/ chain slings.
- Inspection of wire rope slings, chain slings, shackles & other lifting gears
- Upkeeping of workshop & equipment
