Responsibilities

· Manage manufacturing operations, to ensure quality, production reliability, equipment maintenance and cost performance to meet customer requirements

· Schedule, execute and drive production activities and throughput according to production and delivery plan

· Support development of new products in terms of qualification, building Bill of Materials and drafting handling procedures

· Analyze and investigate customer complaint, to propose and lead implementation of improvement actions

· Facilitate production team to propose and implement projects & programs aiming to improve productivity/efficiency in the areas of automation, digitalization, and AI

· To build, train and lead a strong production team, lead to plan, execute Annual Training Plan for the manufacturing team

· Propose and draw plans to support company and departmental KPIs, review KPIs result regularly with team and propose improvement actions whereby needed

· Take lead in the continuous cost improvement/reduction programs through critical review of Production process. Seek yield improvement and output enhancement.

· Establish failure analysis methods & techniques. Analyze data and carries out manufacturability studies; suggest technical solutions/applications/latest manufacturing techniques.

· Responsible for the training, implementation and maintenance of Best Practices and Certifications/Standards.

· Participate in New Product transfer from customers.

· Participate and support any company’s business development/expansion strategies &policies implementation that relates to production and maintenance areas.

· Support site in obtaining and maintaining ISO14001, ISO9001, CQM and Common Criteria certifications

· Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies and procedures of the Company.

Requirements

· Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronic Engineering

· 5 to 8 years’ experience as a Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager

· Working experience in IC chip module mass production or IC chip module engineering environment.

· Working knowledge of die-attach process and equipment, wire-bonding process and equipment, encapsulation process and equipment, chip module testing process and equipment

· Experience in managing 100+ operators, technicians and engineers in a mass production environment

· Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and QEMS is preferred

Responsibilities

§ Planning and driving of newly set-up office, developing necessary approval papers and documents, establishing new department processes, including timeline management, stakeholder engagement, tracking of project progress and deliverables.

§ Lead and develop innovation capabilities and implement new innovations into the culture to influence the overall operations.

§ Facilitate Quality Improvement and Innovation workshops such as lean and human-centred tools to impart knowledge and skills to hospital staff.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree Business Analytics/Computer Science/Engineering/Business Administration or related fields.

· Ability to leverage technology solutions to support quality improvement initiatives.

· Proficient in programming tools such as Python and RPA and good understanding of AI tools to help boost productivity.

· Proficient in LEAN/Six Sigma/AGILE/Design Thinking/Behavioural Insights preferred.

· Certified Train-the-trainer (ACTA/ACLP) or equivalent preferred.
