About the role
Based at our Singapore offices, GrainCorp is seeking a new team member to join us on a fixed term contract (until the end of February) as a Trade Execution Coordinator. The role is responsible for managing the execution of grain contracts for container shipping. The role will also entail:
- Manage the day to day tasks of planning, shipping, invoicing, presenting documents and monitoring payments from the export or purchase point to the import or sales point
- Execute charter parties
- Proactively identify and resolve critical issues preventing execution
- Ensuring compliance with all export and import requirements as well as with GrainCorp’s corporate policies
- Assist the bulk execution team with administration as required
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has container execution experience in a similar role within grains or related commodities such as palm oil, rice, sugar, fertiliser, metals, etc. You should have sound knowledge of the standard contracts which apply to your industry. You should also display:
- Sound knowledge of Incoterms
- Knowledge of payment instruments
- Knowledge of charter party preferred
In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a national police check.
