Our client is an Trading Company right at the forefront of the global commodities markets. Sitting on the trading arm, you will be providing services in supply and logistics management, asset management, risk management.
With 8 trading platforms and presence in more than 50 countries, this particular team manages one of the largest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe and APAC.
As an IT Application Support officer, you will be working in a cohesive team of 3 to manage Pre Trade (Pricing) and Post Trade applications.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Risk and value monitoring tasks
- Batch monitoring
- Ensuring seamless integration of the systems
- Liaising with vendors and managing external applications
- L2 support of over 100+ applications
Your NECESSARY skillsets:
- University degree in IT Engineering or Mathematics
- Coming into this team, you should already have prior experience with managing multiple applications (L2 support)
- Have an understanding of Risk and PnL
- Experience with Trading Systems
- SQL
- Scripting experience
To Note: Yes this is a contract role but there are very high chances to turning perm based on performance!
