Job Description:
· Attend to any safety related matters.
· Carry out Safety & Inspection walk down.
· Carry out inspection of lifesaving equipment on site like Response Vehicle, rescue, fire-fighting equipment and chemical spill kit
· Carry out Monthly inspection of First Aid and AED inspection & replenishment.
· Assist SHE section in Safety matter and follow up.
· Attend to all emergency incidents such as Fire alarm, Chemical incident, First Aid and other incidents.
· Able to operate fire alarm panel and fire protection system in the event of an activation
· Support in confined space activities & rescue operations.
· Support on-site Events and activities as requested by the SHE team.
· Conduct Gas test for Hot work activities on site as required by internal procedure.
· Conducting Site safety training such as SIC and GMP, Permit-To-Work & LOTO, Fall Protection, Hazardous Chemical Spill and Fire Awareness.
· Assist SHE team in conducting OJT for temp or replacement or relief duty technician
· Assist in Waste management system such as waste collection and waste submission via NEA Website.
· Maintain Safety Observation Spreadsheet and closure.
· Assist to conduct investigation for safety related matter, when requested by SHE team.
· Support all Scaffold erection & dismantling as Rescue Stand-by for any Scaffold company appointed by the company.
· Support work at height assessor activity.
· Support Work Order Closure (SAP)
· Any other task assigned by Head of Safety, Security, Health and Environment or his designate.
· Meeting site's safety, health & Environmental (SHE) Performance objectives through compliance with Site SHE rules.
· Task as mentioned under Job Responsibilities of SHE Duty Technicians
Qualification/Requirement:
Duty Technician shall possess the following qualifications and attributes:
· Completed minimally Secondary education or equivalent.
· Competent and qualified Advanced Certificate or Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health.
· Competent and qualified Occupational First Aid with CPR + AED.
· Competent and qualified Confined Space Safety Assessors, Attendants and Rescuers.
· Competent and qualified Work-At-Height Supervisor and Assessor.
· Competent and qualified Basic Fire-Fighting & Rescue.
· Proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills.
· Good Interpersonal, verbal & written skills with ability to multitask.
· Previous working experience in Safety.
· Ability to work shift work.
· Medically and physically, fit to work.
· Support all site Audit as requested by SHE team.
· Support all on-site activities and events as requested by SHE team.
· Participate in Company Emergency Response Plan drills and events.
· Any other tasks assigned by SHE team.
