Role Purpose
Support the marketing team in the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns, with a focus on driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales. This role involves coordinating marketing activities, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the efficient execution of trade and promotional programs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on below-the-line activities (such as promotions, events, and point-of-sale materials).
- Manage the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, ensuring that all POS materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Maintain and update the customer database to facilitate targeted direct marketing campaigns, aimed at driving sales and customer loyalty.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure the smooth execution of marketing activities and promotions.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing feedback to optimize future campaigns.
- Support the tracking and management of marketing budgets, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and that expenditures align with campaign objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of regular reports on campaign performance, marketing spend, and other key metrics.
- Proactively suggest and implement process improvements to streamline marketing operations and enhance team efficiency.
About You
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing or support role, preferably in retail, FMCG, or health and beauty industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software/tools is a plus.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
