– develop and assess business risk and markets impact of proposed solutions to comply with both local regulatory and global Investment Suitability and migration requirements

– provide clear and concise documentation of processes and business requirements for client migration

- work with IT to implement required system enhancements and perform testing to ensure quality of delivery

- syndicate proposed changes with internal stakeholders and implement required process changes

= perform validation of records pre and post migration to ensure outcomes are in line with expectation

- drive and track remediation activities to ensure completion within the required deadlines

- communicate progress to key business partners in a timely manner

- prepare training materials to client facing team for key changes

Your team

You’ll be working with the Investment Suitability Framework team under the Investment Suitability Competence Center. We are responsible for front-to-bank (analysis, process design, and eventual implementation of both pre-trade and ex-post controls) implementation of the IS framework to ensure that the business in SG and HK adheres to both local regulatory Investment Suitability requirements, as well as to the UBS Global Suitability Framework.

Your experience and skills

– business analysis or project management experience in the area of Wealth management, preferably in Investment suitability or Investor protection.

You will be part of Data Analytics & Dashboard teams working for Market Regulations under IB Division. As a senior java developer and part of the agile teams,

you will play an important role in building regulatory applications using latest technology stack deployed on-prem and cloud.

Role - we're looking for a senior java professional who would:

1. regularly interact with stake holders and product managers to understand the project details

2. propose design and technical architecture.

3. work in Agile POD/teams to deliver on the project/module.

4. time to time involve in investigations of any production issues business/operation users might face.

More than 10 years of experience as Java senior developer,

With good knowledge of:

• Core Java (Collections, IO, Exception handling, Threading etc.)
• REST services, JSON, AVRO and XML libraries.
• Spring (or Spring like) framework and webservers.
• Core and Enterprise design patterns.
• Java test cases using frameworks like - Junit, Mockito.
• Certificate based secure communication.
• SQL/PLSQL and messaging frameworks (e.g. Kafka).
• Unix commands to trouble-shoot applications on Linux VMs.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of React and/or other java-script frameworks.
• Java debuggers and basics of JVM tunning.
• Understanding of agile framework (SCRUM).
