Junior Barista in Non-Halal cafe (to-go kiosk, no sitting)

Job Types: Full-time

Location: NUS EA Campus

Working Days: Weekdays only (Monday to Friday)

Shift Hours: 7.30am-5.30pm (full time); 8am - 3pm (part time)

Salary Range: up to $1,700 - $2,200(Based on experience)

Requirements:

• Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience in food preparation and cooking is a plus

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of barista experience is preferred
• In-house advance barista training is provided

Expected Start Date: Immediate

• Warmly greet customers as they approach the counter
• Accurately describe product details to customers while taking orders and paying meticulous attention to preferences of dairy and sugar ratios
• Prepare and serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee and tea, tailoring orders to meet specific customer requests.
• Serve beverages and heat up pre-prepared food, such as pastries and sandwiches
• Receive and process payments efficiently through cash and e-payment systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter and food preparation area, including cleaning all equipment, utensils and work areas.
• Practice first-in, first out (FIFO) inventory management to track and dispose of expired ingredients
• Monitor the condition of brewing equipment and promptly report any maintenance needs
• Comply with basic food hygiene guideline & regulations
• Actively upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
