Job Responsibilities:

• Perform ICP-OES analysis and other lab activities to support the manufacturing of our product.
• Organize and maintain lab document and records, proper housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain optimum inventory level for pure metals, master alloys and lab supplies through proper planning and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot and solve the daily analysis related issues. Review analysis report periodically for abnormalities.
• Update statistical data and monitor SPC trend.
• Enforce and ensure compliances to 7S requirements and ICP lab procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain proper backup and functioning of various databases in the lab.
• Plan daily activities to improve the lab workflow and efficiency.
• Ad hoc project and tasks that may arise and allocated by immediate supervisor. Support operations like CAR/Work Cell/SWR activities.

Job Requirement:

• NiTEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related studies
• At least 2 years of laboratory experience
• Experience in ICP-OES, IC, XRF, UV-Vis, titrator is advantageous.
• Laboratory environment with PPE and jumpsuit are required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Non-Pressure Silver Sinter Paste Development and Application Validation from PDP G2 to G5
• Conducting High Pb and TIM1 paste application validation for product development from CD stage B to C
• Conducting Advanced package tacky flux application validation for product development from PDP G2 to G5
• High Pb paste CD project application test validation from Stage B to C
• Leading the Best-Known Methodology project for subject matter experts on High Pb product
• Collaborating on projects related to functional excellence.
• Support the Preventive maintenance of equipment and spare part inventory

Job Requirements:

• Degree in materials science and engineering, or chemistry
• At least 3 years relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for technical support in Ceramic Substrate, Bonding Wire & Solder paste product (for SMT & SiP module) for APAC customers focusing on customers in Vietnam.
• This includes technical training and managing technical issues for customer projects.
• Acts as a Project Leader for customer-specific projects & solutions
• Support product marketing and R&D in specifying, characterizing and launching of new product
• Support complaint resolution process at customer site by communication of 8D reports
• Provide technical support for customers in a pre-sales through post-sales phase
• Collaborate with Sales account managers in new business development
• Support customers in Ceramic Substrate Quality issues management (for power module), Wire Bonding & SMT Process optimization for SiP and Semiconductor products
• Data collection, analysis and propose solutions and improvements for enhancing robustness of Heraeus Ceramic Substrate, Wire Bond and SMT processes
• Provide technical consultation and guidance to customers on the application of Heraeus Ceramic Substrate, bonding wires and solder pastes for customers’ product
• Provide on-site customer support for problem solving and analysis

Job Requirement :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Material/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience, Master’s degree will have an advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in power module assembly, wire bonding process and/or Solder paste/SMT process. Experience in power module or SiP package is preferred
• Strong skill sets in Technical Problem Solving, Design of Experiments (DOE) and knowledge on use of software like Minitab or JMP
• Good communication and presentation skill and able to converse in English

Job Description and Responsibilites

1.Establish the powder production process at HMSL. Plan and conduct process improvement and development activities relating to the powder products.

2.Learn proprietary material development technology to support the development of new material application methods, transfer new products to production.

3.Participate in transfer of proprietary technology from Germany to Singapore manufacturing location.

4.Assess requirements and actively recommend new lab/analytical equipment; participate in the decision-making process for the acquisition of this new equipment and systems to support innovative products.

5.Manage development projects, participate in technical discussions, and provide critical advice to management to maintain a focus on excellence.

Analyze and identify problems with existing products and originate formula or process changes.

6.Provide technical advice, expertise, and troubleshooting consultation to field engineers and to current and potential customers regarding product usage, flexibility, and applications.

7.Remain abreast of technical developments in the field; obtain information through literature and patents.

8.Function as a technical resource to sales, marketing, field engineers and manufacturing.

9.Maintain accurate and complete records for projects, including review of records of a multidisciplinary team.

10.Author technical reports, technical papers, patent applications, project updates, and technical overviews as required; present results at international customers and at conferences.

Description of Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead in fine powder project development, inclusive of new product/ equipment/ part/ process / raw material
• Understand project requirement and working closely with cross functional teams to ensure meeting the timeline for each stage gate exit
• Execute product/process/application development projects with experimental design methodology using available tools to enable best solution (Powder & Paste)
• Identify and initiate innovative ideas for product/process/application improvement leading to project success (Powder & Paste)
• Draft and plan executable timeline and methodology for projects assigned and prepare regular updates to management on project progress
• Support internal and external customers on development, quality, technical and failure analysis requests
• Prepare and present technical presentations/reports for internal and external events/conferences

Knowledge

• Hands on experience and knowledge with metal and other assembly materials in electronic packages.
• Detail understanding of metallurgical microstructure and interaction between metals and alloys particularly alloys using in electronic packages.
• Relevant other assembly materials product development or experience in electronic packages is also welcome. Experienced in project management, Design for Six Sigma and DOE methodology is a plus.

Skills

• Analytical skill in materials characterization and failure investigation using SEM/EDAX, surface analysis and in-depth material characterization. Statistical Data analysis skill set on data to provide possible solution.
