Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair & installation of low and high voltage control systems for TBM/VSM equipment;
• Assist in maintaining TBM/VSM documentation for existing and new equipment;
• Troubleshoot and identify operation problems with PLC and related TBM/VSM components;
• Assist with TBM/VSM start-ups and operational checkouts on system including configuration, wiring, calibration, grounding and power testing;
• Diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of equipments;
• Ensure components and support system complies with all standards and regulations;
• Repair & replace defective components.

Requirements

• Possess Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in the tunnelling industry;
• Experience with Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), Vertical Shaft Machine (VSM) and Pipe Jacking Machine is a must;
• Good oral & written English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and fix running equipment as necessary;
• Identify operating problems and perform emergency repair;
• Perform routine maintenance work on TBM equipments;
• Responsible for the installation of TBM parts including repair and replace damaged/worn out parts;
• Supervision during TBM assembly, tunnelling and dismantling;
• Testing of TBM equipments to ensure smooth running;
• Oversee the daily activities at work site to meet project progress.

Requirements

• Possess Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Min. 8yrs experience in tunelling industry
• Experience with Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), Vertical Sinking Machine (VSM) and Pipe Jacking Machine

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients to set up pipejacking equipment on jobsite.
• Connecting, assembling and commissioning of pipejacking machine and the ancillary equipment on the jobsite.
• Responsible for the daily pipejacking operations including maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of HK pipejacking machine.
• Monitor and control the jacking process to ensure alignment and installation of pipes.
• Responsible for the use of slurry circuit and separation system during mining operations.
• Monitor the consumption of lubricants and excavated materials throughout the mining cycle
• Assist Client to lead his pipejacking team and to prepare shift reports and daily records
• Support and provide training to client's operator
• Comply with all statutory and jobsite safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

• At least 5-year experience in pipejacking operations
• With mechanical knowledge background
• BCSS (Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course), additional certification preferred
• Good oral & written English
• Willing to work overseas for work assignments

• Order and review technical drawings with Drafting Department
• Participate in development of technical databases
• Provide technical support to sales team and project teams

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Some knowledge of TBM technology will be advantageous
• Ideal candidate should be a fast learner and industrious
• Possess good interpersonal and effective communication skill

· At least an associate degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

· With 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in the tunnelling or relevant industry

· Some experience in steel structure manufacturing or machinery fabrication would be preferred

· Possess good interpersonal and effective communication skill. An excellent team play who can also work well independently with minimum supervision and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment

· Good written and spoken Japanese to liaise with Japanese-speaking clients

· Good computer literacy skills with software, eg. Microsoft and/or windows applications
