We are now looking for a Recovery Nurse to support the functions at our Day-Surgery & Endoscopy Centre.
The successful candidate will be performing the following duties, but not limited to:
- Manage patient admission/transfer/discharge procedures.
- Perform perioperative assessment of the patient for surgery / Endoscopy procedure.
- Receive immediate post-procedure patient in recovery, assess status, and provide appropriate care.
- Vital signs monitoring (Temp, HR, RR, SPO2).
- Demonstrates proper airway management techniques.
- Recognises signs and symptoms of patient’s condition that indicate potential post-procedure or anesthesia-related complications and reports to anaesthesiologist immediately.
Qualification / Work Experience Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing, at least 2 years of Ambulatory surgery or acute hospital recovery setting.
- Competent in monitoring patients with sedation.
- Experience in monitoring patients and care of patients in recovery.
- Knowledge in serving oral medication and IM injection as ordered.
- Knowledge in the use of infusion pumps as needed.
- Competent in giving patients post-op instructions and discharge instructions as indicated.

Basic Salary / Working Hours / Annual Leave:
- Salary range: $3000 and above, depending on working experience relevant to the job scope
- Work week: 5.5-day work (Sunday and PH off), occasional overnight duty (additional overnight allowance, overnight pay or time claim)
- Annual Leave: 18 to 21 days
