Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an International Sales Manager/Executive within the Steel industry is highly desirable.
- Must be Familiar with constructions steel products including Hot rolled coil, Steel pipe, Steel sheet, Wire rod, Steel bar, etc.
- Possess a strong command of English across all four skills with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalence.
- May be assigned additional tasks by the Director as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective action plan to achieve sales targets set by the Director. Ensure the achievement of both divisional and personal targets, in alignment with the company’s sales policies and strategies.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for various regions and territories.
- Project expected sales volumes and profits for both current and new products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Proactively search for potential customers through various channels.
- Verify new and potential customer identity and thoroughly understand their needs.
- Attend customer inquiries and provide prompt and accurate responses.
- Obtain firm bids from customers and prepare comprehensive proposals.
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate sales terms, pricing, and other relevant terms to maximize profit.
- Coordinate with relevant departments, such as Chartering, Operations, Finance, Legal to facilitate the completion of deals; ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Stay informed throughout every step of the sales contract process and remain vigilant in dealing with any potential disputes that may arise.
- Remain updated about industry trends, market conditions, and the activities of competitors in order to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Willingness to travel for business is required.
