• Offer general administrative assistance to the HR department.
• Oversee the recruitment and selection processes for new staff.
• Draft and prepare HR-related correspondence.
• Address and manage employee-related concerns.
• Handle HR personnel files, track attendance, and manage leave records.
• Maintain and update employees’ personal data files.
• Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of factory facilities and office equipment.
• Register for courses, process pass applications, and update records as needed.
• Apply for work permits and manage matters related to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and coordinate daily hotel operations, ensuring adherence to established standards for optimal guest satisfaction.
• Train and supervise Front Desk staff in reception and cashiering procedures, assigning tasks as needed.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate Front Desk operations, policies, and procedures, proposing improvements to the Management.
• Conduct thorough investigations of irregularities, undesirable guests, and room occupancy discrepancies.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel.
• Stay well-informed about hotel facilities to address guest inquiries.
• Handle complaints, incidents, or accidents occurring in the hotel as necessary.
• Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes during peak hours.
• Implement effective room inventory control to prevent overbooking and maximize revenue.
• Adhere to safety policies, promptly reporting accidents for safety maintenance.
• Rehearse, implement, and enforce emergency procedures for guest and employee security.
• Enforce Hotel Licensing Regulations and comply with existing laws for guest and property safety.
• Enforce hotel security and anti-vice procedures strictly.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
• Well-groomed with a cheerful disposition.
• Calm, efficient, and able to work well under pressure.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a full set of accounts, including General Ledger, General Journals, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payables.
• Responsible for monthly accounts closing and reporting, including Bank Reconciliation, P&L Statement, and Balance Sheet.
• Handle data entry and meticulous record-keeping.
• Execute cheque payments for suppliers and manage petty cash.
• Prepare schedules for year-end audits.
• Submit GST and CPF reports.
• Verify collections and receipts.
• Handle finance-related human resource functions such as payment of salaries and employment benefits and maintenance of leave records for all staff.
• Prepare and maintain a fixed asset register.
• Prepare schedules for prepayments, accruals, and other journals.
• Prepare financial statements and schedules.
• Prepare year-end financial reports.
• Assist in yearly audits.
• Liaise with management, sales, and operations regarding invoicing and collection matters.
• Perform admin-related duties and ad-hoc duties.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirement(s)

• Computer literate, at least in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• A good team player with a positive working attitude.
• Hardworking and willing to learn.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to multitask.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher Degree/LCCI International Qualification - Level 2.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.

Working Hours:

5 days (Monday - Friday | 9 am - 3 pm)

Wage:

S$ 15 – S$ 18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a full set of accounts.
• Handle data entry and meticulous record-keeping.
• Execute cheque payments for suppliers/ vendors and manage petty cash.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Generate monthly P&L reports using Excel.
• Prepare schedules for year-end audits.
• Manage HR and Payroll functions.
• Submit GST and CPF reports.
• Attend to phone calls, correspondence, filing, and provide general administrative support.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:

• Degree/LCCI International Qualification - Level 2
• Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in the Accounting Department in the hotel industry.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Excel
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
