Job Position: Project Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Project Manager with a background in fashion to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in project management within the fashion industry, as well as a strong ability to oversee the execution of projects from start to finish. This role also requires public relations (PR) skills to manage external communications, press relations, and brand image. The ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners (including influencers and media) is essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (both spoken and written) is required for effective communication with international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
Lead and manage the execution of fashion-related projects from initiation to completion. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and operations.
- Campaign Coordination:
Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches. Collaborate with external PR agencies to ensure a unified and consistent brand voice across all channels.
- Brand Image & Reputation Management:
Oversee the brand’s public image, ensuring it aligns with company values and resonates with the target audience. Address any PR challenges or issues that arise and maintain a positive brand perception.
- Team Collaboration:
Work closely with design, product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of projects. Coordinate efforts to ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Event Management:
Plan and manage product launches, media events, or influencer engagements. Oversee logistics, communications, and promotional strategies for each event to maximize brand exposure.
- Bilingual Communication:
Communicate fluently in both English and Chinese with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. This includes creating content for press releases, social media, and other promotional materials.
- Reporting & Analytics:
Track the progress of projects and provide regular updates to senior management. Analyze project outcomes and PR campaigns to assess effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with exposure to PR, marketing, or fashion industry-related projects. Experience with managing PR campaigns and handling media relations is a must.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) in English and Chinese.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
- Knowledge of the fashion industry and an understanding of current trends.
- Ability to analyze data, report on outcomes, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Education:
A degree in Project Management, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
