What role will you play?
You will be responsible for the monitoring of daily regulatory ratios and preparation of regulatory returns for submission to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), as well as ensuring integrity of financial information by implementing and monitoring appropriate controls to guarantee accuracy and compliance at all times.
You will apply your finance and accounting acumen to understand and apply rules, interpretations, and assumptions around regulatory requirements, and ensure regulatory obligations are accurately completed and lodged on a timely basis. You will also support projects driven by regulatory change, internal business changes or new business activities, and identify areas for process improvement, enhancements, and automation.
What you offer
· 2-4 years’ experience in financial accounting, financial control, legal entity control or regulatory reporting experience in a financial institution
· Bachelor of Accountancy or Finance (professional accounting qualification like CA or CPA preferred)
· Strong numerical and abstract reasoning skills and ability to access and test the validity of complex data
· High attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at multiple levels
· Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting rules and requirements will be beneficial.
