DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer procurement activities, offering end-to-end guidance to internal requestors on procurement procedures and processes.
- Review and prepare procurement documentation for approvals, publication, evaluation, and award recommendations, ensuring fair evaluation and compliance with the school’s procurement policies and the Government Instruction Manual(IM).
- Perform procurement transactions on procurement system (GeBIZ), including publishing quotations, raising awards, and issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and contracts.
- Collaborate with internal requestors on contract management, ensuring accurate tracking and timely completion of purchase requests.
- Perform administrative tasks such as collating information, document filing, and maintaining procurement records for compliance and audit purposes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of procurement procedures and practices, driving greater efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Perform other administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in government procurement procedures and GeBIZ is highly preferred. However, candidates without this experience but demonstrate strong analytical skills, a willingness to learn, and familiarity with procurement processes are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of government procurement procedures is highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
